5 Ways To Keep Your Skin Glowing During Menstruation

Women go through a lot of hormonal changes during periods. Sometimes the skin becomes stiff, sometimes the glow gets faded, but the worst part is the acne that emerges on the face. But you don’t need to worry anymore! We have few tips on how to take care of the skin while you are on periods!

* Face Wash

Use a pH balanced facewash for better effect. It is very good for skin during the menstrual period. If you want, you can also use a cleansing lotion instead of facewash. Due to periods, the skin becomes quite stiff and hence ends up being sensitive. Wash your face twice a day with facewash of good quality. This will clean the skin well.
* Moisturize
Whenever you wash the face, do not forget to moisturize the face after that. It retains the moisture in the skin and the skin remains soft and bouncy. During this time levels of estrogen and progesterone are balanced, causing the skin to become normal again as before. There is no need to do something special in this situation, but do not make the mistake of ignoring the daily routine. Take care of skin regularly.

* Be consistent

You can’t expect to have an amazing skin only a few days of the month if you’re not taking care of it throughout the year. Get hold of a tried-and-tested skin-care routine on a more regular basis, as this will help you avoid those pesky troubles during your period days.
* Sleep

Staying up late in the night, constantly texting and talking over the phone, eating junk and many more things have proven to be the causes of various illnesses. It is said that the traditional lifestyle of ‘early to bed and early rising’ is extremely beneficial to your health. Make sure to sleep for 7-8 hours in a day .

* Drink water

Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily to get beautiful skin. This brings out the natural glow to your face. Also, drinking water keeps your skin hydrated and that will keep you away from many skin diseases.
