Easy and effective home remedies for skin lightening
Given our busy schedules all of us live extremely hectic lives. Our skin is continuously exposed to a lot of things like pollution, UV rays, which creates affects the skin negatively. Stress, improper diet, poor eating habits to had its own share of effects on our skin. 
Flawless and even skin lives on like a far off dream due to all the reasons that we’ve mentioned above. The only way to get stunning skin is by turning to home remedies as they do not contain any chemical properties. These home remedies are perfect as help in brightening the skin, balancing the skin tone, helps in reducing blemishes and also eliminates harmful bacterias. 
Listed below are easy and effective face masks which will help in skin lightening
Tomato mask 
Tomato contains photoprotective properties which helps in protecting the skin from aging. Oatmeals on the other hand is a great exfoliant and yoghurt adds in the moisture. 
Take 2 teaspoon of tomato juice and 1 teaspoon of yoghurt and 1 teaspoon of oatmeal to it. Mix everything well together. Apply the mask on clean skin and let it rest for about 20 minutes. Wash it off with warm water. Practise this for about 2-3 times a week for best results. 
Lemon and honey mask 
Lemon as we all know is rich in Vitamin C and has major skin cleansing and lightening properties. 
Take 1 tablespoon of milk, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of honey. Mix it all well together and apply the paste on your face. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and then wash it away. Do this method every alternate night for best results. 
Gram flour and yoghurt mask
Besan or gram flour has anti-microbial properties that protect our skin from infection. Rose waster moisturises the skin and yoghurt helps in skin brightening. 
All you need is 2 tablespoon of besan, 2 teaspoon of yoghurt and 1 teaspoon of rose water. Mix it all well together in a fine paste. Apply it evenly on the face and let it stay for about half an hour. Wash your face with warm water. Do this thrice a week for best and instant results. 
Potato juice 
Potato juice is super rich in Vitamin C and has anti-oxidant properties. It also contains bleaching properties which makes the skin lighter and removes dead skin cells. 
All youve got to do is peel the potato and cut it into small cubes. Rub the small pieces on your face and leave it on for about 15-20 minutes. You can also grate the potato and squeeze out the juice and apply it on your face with a cotton pad. Repeat this process thrice a week for best results. 
Rice flour mask 
Rice powder is great for softer, lighter and healthier skin. It also contains a lot of skin lightening properties. Milk on the other hand helps in moisturising and also provides nourishment. 
Take half a cup rice flour and mix it with about 3-4 tablespoon of milk. Apply this paste on your skin and leave it on for about 30 minutes. Repeat this twice a week for best results.
