Top Tips To Say No To Oily Skin This Season

One thing that every girl fears about is oily skin which can cause a lot of skin problems like acne break outs, pimples, and black heads. Running to a parlor doesn’t work out all the time. The only solution is to control the oil oozing from the “T” region on your face.

Here are a few simple steps that can help you balance the oil levels on the skin.

  1. Wash your face with cold water
  • Cold water is a simple remedy to remove excess oil and dirt from the skin.
  • It reduces sebum extracts that help in oil secretion from sebaceous glands. 
  • Wash your face with lukewarm water and pat it dry. Sprinkle a little cold water on the face to close the pores immediately.
  • Follow this routine at least twice a day to see effective results.

2. Use Toner Or cleanser

  • It’s very important to control the excess oil from your skin. blotting paper or face tissues should be used to clean excess oil during the day.
  • A mixture of vinegar and rose water or green tea and rose water works as a wonderful toner for oily skin that is quite effective.
  • Cleansing your face with milk is also an effective way to get rid of oil.

3. Apply face pack

  • Open pores can be closed by using home made face packs that calms the skin.
  • Gram flour or curd help to make the face pack thick. 
  • Using fingers or brush apply it evenly and leave it for 10 – 15 minutes.
  • This helps to remove excess oil from your skin and works effectively for oily skin.

4. Salt spray

  • This is a unique method to control oil on the skin. All you need is a mixture of water and salt and store it in a spray bottle.
  • Shake the bottle well so that the salt completely dissolves in water.
  • Wash your face and spray this solution on your face, at least 2-3 times a day and pat it dry. 
  • You will notice a visible difference in your skin within a few days.
